Welcome to the Dial a Llama website

Here at Scrubditch, we now have 8 llamas - 4 trekking and 4 training. Why not try a trek with the family or friends through the Cotswold countryside, in the company of llamas?

Starting in Easter 2006, we will be doing short walks (approx. 4 hours) or longer day treks (up to seven hours). All the walks will include refreshments and lunch. All the food will be locally sourced using produce within 20 miles of the farm. Log on to our website for regular updates and our programme for the coming season.

A typical half-day trek

10 am: Tea & coffee on arrival with a chance to get to know your Llama*
10:45: Head off.
12:45: Stop for Lunch.
1:15: Head off again.

* During this time, you will be required to sign a disclaimer form.

From June 2006, we shall be running full-day treks of 8-12 miles with lunch and refreshments included.

Dial-a-llama

January 2006: We bought 4 more llamas from the Isle of Harris. They had been packing, whenever weather had permitted.

We count ourselves very lucky to have found such a friendly working team. Based in the heart of the Cotswolds, surrounded by rolling countryside and glorious walks.
